Welcome to Greensboro Citizens for Clean Elections.  We're concerned about the role of money in Greensboro elections and are advocating for a level playing field.  We're in favor of giving Greensboro the option of implementing a public financing program for City Council and Mayoral elections.  Public financing has proven popular throughout the country, including here in NC where there are programs for our statewide judicial contests and, new for 2008, 3 Council of State races.  Additionally, Chapel Hill is working to implement a program for their 2009 local elections.
